Job Description
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist Part I, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic tests and procedures in various laboratory disciplines. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results, adhering to laboratory protocols, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and HOKLAS Accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
In-charge of Chemical Pathology or Haematology.
Analyze and report test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Coordinate research & development projects, method validation & verification projects and improve laboratory processes.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree (or equivalent qualifications) in Medical Sciences or related subjects;
Part I registered technologists under Hong Kong Medical Technologist Board.
At least 5 years of experience in medical testing, preferably in Chemical Pathology or Haematology.
Knowledge of HOKLAS and ISO 15189:2022 standards and accreditation requirements is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
