IoT Technician/IoT Specialist/Support Engineer/Technical Assistant (Smart City)

Job Description

Qualifications & experience

Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related discipline
Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience, fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
Experience in programming is preferred
Knowledge of one or more programming languages: C, C#, Linux, or Python
Strong team player with good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin
 

Tasks & responsibilities

Handling a wide range of IoT devices, including sensors, RFID hardware, embedded controllers, data transmission modules, etc.
Participating in demonstrations, trial runs, and commissioning with the Project Team
Conducting hardware status inspections, testing, and repairing for deployed devices
Supporting the Engineering Manager in system deployment activities such as on-site installation, maintenance, and ad-hoc troubleshooting
Providing professional technical support and guidance when needed
Performing other duties as assigned
Work hours: Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM (1 hour lunch break).
