Engineering Manager – (Heavy Machinery)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, and leading a team of over 20+ on the Engineering team
Drive and motivate the engineering team to ensure efficient controls and support on the repairs, maintenance and modifications within the plant’s heavy equipment, and vehicles reliability management
Continuously thrive to improve processes in a IoT plant environment
Actively liaise with vendors on cost, materials, and component selection
Lead, inspire and develop teams with new skills for continuous growth and improvement
Design and own KPI’s for quality, performance, deliver and costs for all projects
Provide direction on plant production performance
Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:

Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
Chartered Engineer Qualification would be highly desirable
At least 10+ years of experiences, ideally working with heavy capital machinery or heavy vehicles
At least 5 years of leadership roles on leading an engineering department.
Strong analytical strengths and the ability to evaluate multiple forms of engineering data.
Experienced in process management with hands on exposure in product development, product engineering, component engineering.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is a must
